Cross-Border Freight (CUSMA)

Canada–US freight moved under CUSMA with the customs paperwork handled — PARS, PAPS, and broker coordination — so loads clear the border instead of sitting at it.

The Canada–US border is the busiest freight relationship in the world, and under the Canada–United States–Mexico Agreement (CUSMA) it is also one of the most paperwork-sensitive. A truck can be loaded correctly, dispatched on time, and still lose a day at the crossing because a document was missing or a manifest was filed late. Cross-border freight is where coordination beats capacity.

We move southbound and northbound loads — full-truckload and LTL — with the customs mechanics handled in parallel to the physical move. That means CUSMA certification of origin done right, PARS and PAPS pre-arrival processing lined up with the carrier and customs broker, and ACE/ACI electronic manifests filed so the freight is expected before it reaches the booth.

When the border slows down — and it does — we monitor wait times and hold reroute contingencies so a backup at one crossing does not become a missed delivery appointment. You ship across a national boundary; we make it feel like one country.
